Finding the Best Mobile Phone Deal
Like most people (I guess) I have a contract mobile phone which comes up for renewal every year, nice in one way as you get a new handset regularly, and I love my gadgets!
The down side is its so damn confusing trying to pick the right contract!
Some sites ive found claim to have close to a million mobile phone deals on them which is pretty scary when you think about it, and to make matters worse the way you search for these deals is not always as simple as it could be. A lot of sites use slider widgets etc to try and help you find the right product, but I dont find those quite specific enough, or, the ones that are very specific in their search become a little bit too much work!
I think the key when looking for a new phone deal is to know what you want! That is to say, at a minimum know how many minutes, text messages and how much data you want per month. Once you have that then using a site like the aptly named mobile phone deals makes it pretty easy to find what you are looking for. If you can figure out what model you want in advance all the better. I recently switched from being a hard core BlackBerry user to my first Android phone (a Samsung Galaxy) and absolutely love it.
You dont realise how many apps are missing on BlackBerry OS until you see the Android Market or Apples App Store, so it was with some regret that I left BlackBerry, though that is not to say I will return. But whatever your looking for… your best bet really is to use a comparison site to find your next mobile contract, the high street stores just seem to make things more confusing and often just dont know the products well enough… in my opinion at least!
